Oh look, my blog!

It's been one week since you looked at me, cocked your head to the side and said Im angry. Thank you to the Barenaked Ladies for that lyrical quote, but its been more than a week since I have been on here and it's safe to say that I don't know where to begin with all that has changed in my life: I am now a less than part-time second semester college freshman. Although it is at the shittiest, and only, collegiate institute in, quoting a friend, Hamiltrash. I now have a girlfriend. I know, shocking to say the least, but shes happy and Im.....mostly happy so we'll see what happens. Oprama is now out of the "save the banks" mode and into "universal healthcare" mode and what a surprise, the republicans are riding his ass for it. He is also easing away from his never home mode into more of a stay at home but still traveling dad. Tiger Woods went dumbshit and sat back and let his private life be revealed to his wife and all who cared. Brad Pitt officially looks like a hobo, and Im surprised Angelina likes his facial hair that way, although I doubt it.

Steve McNair

Wow, possibly the best quarterback who didnt win a Super Bowl was found shot to death yesterday. Steve McNair was a great QB and the football world has the most shocking loss since the LB from the Redskins was shot in the leg in a fouled up robbery. Steve's accomplishments speak for themselves. He probably went to a few Pro Bowls, but not that I know because the Pro Bowl is starting to look like the MLB All-Star Game and I haven't watched a Pro Bowl in ever. He is most memorable for the "yard too short" play in the Super Bowl when his team faced Kurt Warner and the St. Louis Rams.

Michael Jackson is dead

Well in the most surprising week ever, MJ (not the basketball player) and Billy Mays, both lost their lives. And yet, the world that didn't revolve around them (me in particular) could care less that the music industry lost one of its biggest icons since Frank Sinatra died back in 98. Thats eleven years this past May he died and nobody could give a lesser crap about it. Which just goes to show you that people die, including famous people, and life goes on without those particular people. So after MJ gets put six feet deep, he will be grieved about for a few more months/years and then it will just be memories of him playing on the radio...Oh wait, even three years BEFORE he died the songs were just memories of him since he's been to court and hasn't made a song in I don't care to know how long. Since Billy Mays died, I assume that the show "Pitchmen" will now fold with it only being "Sully" making the commercials shown in it, although I never watched it. And all this goes to show you how...hell what does it show you?...Oh, that's right, people live and people die, and people are forgotten about. Just like the "hero" who landed the plane in the Hudson River after hitting a bird which isn't his fault since JFK should have better geese patrols on lookout for retarded stuff like that.

18 June 2009

I realize that I haven't been on for a good five months but I have noticed that people are getting stupider by the generation: the old dude who shot up the Jewish Heritage museum and then killed himself, the Va. Tech shooting, the dude who went into the school in Lancaster Pa. driving a bread truck and killed students and teachers, the idiot who went into the mall and killed people. I have noticed that all of these people then proceeded to kill themselves after commiting these crimes. I understand that all of these are tragic, but what the hell is this world coming to?!? Or are we just going to sit there and let all this crap happen? Where are the security measures? How are we supposed to feel safe going to school or on a family/school trip if there are people just sitting around waiting to pull some stunt like this?

Inauguration

So the Inauguration date is inside of a week away and I don' t even want to find out what Obama's first move is. I'm not saying that I am a McCain supporter, because I'm not. In November it was obvious to me that Obama was going to win the election, as my history teacher said "the Democrats could have nominated Mickey Mouse and he could have won," yet people who liked McCain were trying to tell me that the Indonesian school Obama went to required citizenship in the country, and that the U.S. "frowns upon" the idea that someone has multiple citizenships. On that note, how would our ambassadors be able to serve overseas, or does diplomatic immunity apply to citizenship as well? The anti-Obama people also said that he was originally from Kenya, not Hawaii, which isn't true. His father was from Kenya and he came over to America and lived in Kansas, where he met Mrs. Obama and they had Barack. His father then went back to Kenya, or something or other like that, and Barack and his mother went to live with his grandmother in Hawaii, were he recently visited to see his grandmother.

NFL Playoffs

Do the Eagles have a chance of winning tomorrow's game against the Giants? I say no, but if their running game is good, they might do better than anyone expects. Which means that Brian Westbrook needs to be as close to one hundred percent as possible. Once you get past that realism, you turn to Eli and how well he could throw the ball tomorrow. He should complete 40-50% of his passes and that would help put the game away in favor of the G men.

I would also take Pittsburgh over the Chargers, but that's only because the Chargers beat my favorite team, the Broncos, to get there. So Big Ben is hurting/injured, so what he could beat these guys with half the talent he has now.

Israel's invasion

Since the Israelis gave Gaza Strip to the Muslims, it has been nothing but an all-out brawl. First, the Arabs demanded that the U.N. security council step in and gain control of the situation. Now, all of Europe is getting into it and protesting the Israeli invasion. Although it was the Hamas that started this fiasco when they began firing rockets into Israel after Israel was kind enough to give them the Strip. And the New York Times says that now Israel has warned the residents of Gaza that it is preparing its next step, which would be a deeper ground force operation in the war against Hamas. The death toll is reported to have reached 800 now, with most of the casualties being civilians.
